Arrive back in Watamu/Malindi late afternoon or in time for lunch

2-DAYS/1-NIGHT TO SAROVA SALT LICK GAME LODGE

 

DAY 1:

• 5am depart Watamu for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary via Kilifi and Mariakani to arrive by lunch time

• Arrive at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge for check-in and lunch

• Afternoon game drive

• Dinner and overnight

 

DAY 2:

• Early morning Wake-up call

• Morning game drive and breakfast back at the lodge

• Mid-morning game drive 

• Lunch

• Depart for Watamu passing through Mariakani and Kilifi 

• Arrive back at Watamu early evening.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary consists mainly of a 110 sq kms plains and woodlands with typical river bank vegetation along watercourse. The park offers a safe haven to a wide variety of animals and birds in a compact area of natural beauty. Mammals found in this small area including elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and cheetah and almost 300 species of birds.

NB: Instead of an early morning game drive and breakfast back at the lodge, a full-day game drive can be requested at the Lodge by the driver/guide whereby breakfast is taken at the Lodge and then depart with packed lunches to return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Early morning game drive and breakfast back at the lodge. After breakfast, leisure time or a mid-morning game drive returning to Lodge/Camp for lunch.
Depart after lunch with afternoon game drive en-route to Sala Gate to arrive back at Watamu/Malindi at approximately 16.00hrs

Afternoon/Evening Game Drive. Returning to the Lodge for

DAY 3

Breakfast.
 Check-out and depart for Morning Game Drive through Tsavo West National Park and taking lunch at Lion hill.
Depart after lunch for Watamu/Malindi via Kilifi through Mariakani and Kaloleni. 
Arrive back in Watamu/Malindi late afternoon.

4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS TSAVO EAST, TSAVO WET, AND AMBOSELI

Depart Watamu/Malindi to arrive at Sala Gate (Tsavo East National Park). Drive through Park along Galana River to arrive at Camp/Lodge for lunch.
Afternoon/Evening Game Drive, returning to the Camp/Lodge at 18.30

 Breakfast and depart Camp/Lodge through Tsavo East National Park with Game Drive en-route to Amboseli National Park and arrive at Camp/Lodge for lunch.
 Afternoon/Evening Game Drive, returning to the Camp/Lodge at 18.30.

DAY 3


Wake-up Call with Tea/Coffee. 
Early Morning Game Drive, followed by breakfast back at the Camp/Lodge at 08.00. 
Depart Camp/Lodge after breakfast to Tsavo West National Park with Game Drive en-route and via Mzima Springs to arrive Camp/Lodge for lunch.
 Afternoon/Evening Game Drive, returning to the Camp/Lodge at 18.30

4 NIGHTS / 5 DAYS TSAVO EAST, TSAVO WEST AND AMBOSELI

 

DAY 1 - TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from hotel/ moi international airport(mombasa) to tsavo east national for a game drive and lunch at the lodge/camp. Relax. Afternoon game drive. Tsavo east is the most fascinating natural reserve in the whole continent; it offers true wilderness with a wide variety of vegetation, more species of big and small mammals and thousands species of birds for bird watchers. The only place on earth in which it is possible to observe great herds of buffalos and elephants. Luckly you will see something really extra ordinary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli national park, game drive. Lunch and Relax. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 

DAY 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

A day dedicated to visiting the park from which it is possible to enjoy one of the best views of the Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the World. Amboseli situated at 1.100 meters of altitude at the foot of the Kilimanjaro, the park embodies 5 main wildlife habitats [acacia woodland, rocky thornbush country, swamps, marshland and the east african open plains] and is mostly occupied by a pleistocene lake basin, now dry. A series of large springs fed by underground rivers from mt. Kilimanjaro's melting snows produce lush swamps which are like real oasis in an otherwise inhospitable environment: in times of drought they form permanent watering places for the large elephant and buffalo herds, as well as for the resident hippos, wildebeests, zebras and giraffe, making this low-rainfall area one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 

DAY 4: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive to Tsavo west national park crossing the magnificent shetani lava flow: a black lava flow 8km long and 5 meters deep, it is the remains of volcanic eruptions. Game drive and lunch at the lodge or camp. With its diversity of habitats, wildlife, mountainous scenic landscape and giant baobabs, the park counts among its main attractions the "rhino sanctuary" and mzima springs [replenished with two hundred and twenty million liters of crystal-clear water every day]. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 

DAY 5: TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast a game drive enroute towards the park exit. Lunch at Lion hill. After lunch transfer to airport or to a coastal hotel of your choice.

6 DAYS - 5 NIGHTS SAFARI TO TSAVO EAST, TSAVO WEST AND AMBOSELI

 

DAY 1 NGUTUNI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Depart to Ngutuni Private Game Reserve, a short distance from Tsavo East National Park. Arrive Ngutuni Lodge, rest after the journey in the lodge's comfortable rooms. Safari inside the reserve in the afternoon and evening dedicated to a night time safari. Off-track and night time safaris are possible inside the reserve, something which is not usually allowed in National Parks. All rooms in the lodge give onto a little nearby lake where animals go to drink. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngutuni Lodge.

 

DAY 2 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park. Game viewing before lunch. Lunch and rest in the camp/ lodge. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and Overnight stay in the camp/Lodge.

DAY 6 TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Morning dedicated to visit the park and trekking excursion to lugards falls, a long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite haunt for sunbathing crocodiles. Lunch. After lunch depart for watamu/malindi passing out through sala gate. Arriving to your hotel of choice in the Kenya Coast Hotels in the afternoon.
